Dr. Mohammad E. Taher, MD

Dr. Mohammad E. Taher obtained his medical degree from the University of Tehran School of Medicine in 1987.  He completed a residency in the department of neurology for the same university and Pahlavi Hospital in 1989.  Dr. Taher then took his studies abroad, and completed fellowships in various neurological disciplines at the University of British Columbia.  He then came to the University of Utah, where he completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Neurology from 1996-2000.

Dr. Taher has practiced neurology with Neurological Associates since 2000.  He maintains double board certification with the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

Dr. Taher’s extensive international medical experience has helped him garner the respect of medical professionals throughout the world.  His passion for excellence and continual learning has equipped him with the ability to provide first-class medical services.

On a personal note, Dr. Taher chose to practice Neurology because it deals with the human brain, the most complex and mysterious entity in the universe.

Adrienne Thorpe, MA

Adrienne is our phenomenal Medical Assistant that works in conjunction with Dr. Taher. She is adept at meeting the needs of their patients and has received many compliments on her friendly personality. Outside of the office, Adrienne enjoys the great outdoors and can be found camping or hiking.
